Why Omnism?

I have walked in both the light and the dark, and I might have a unique perspective on life. I do not want to be associated with a single religion, because I believe that they all are just cut and pasted over what is the true source of God.

In my opinion, all forms of worship are just different ways for the human mind to bring understanding to a source that is incomprehensible to us in this lifetime. So, we rationalize what we think we know, trying to fully understand what we do not. My belief is that God allows us to choose our own paths, so that in the end, we learn that all paths lead back to God eventually. I have followed many religions, and they all worked for me. So, I can only assume that all religions come from the same place, otherwise they would not have worked. Each religion has a different philosophy, but share one thing in common, they have a belief in a higher power. That higher power is what makes the every day man or woman the potential that they are, but gives them the choice to make what they may of that potential. It leads to a faith in some ideal, whatever it may be.

It is my belief that all religions come from one true source. This source comes to each individual in a way that the person can understand. I choose to call this source of light God for lack of a better word. The important thing is to have REAL faith in what you believe. This source reaches out to all who seek it. I was fortunate enough to have a glimpse of this source, and in doing so was lucky enough to know that the source is real. This gives me much faith in a higher being, even though I do not know exactly what this source is.

All I know is what I experience, and I have felt the love that comes from this source if only for a minute. I also believe that this source allows many paths back to it. It is my belief that we all are a part of this source, And God has sent each one of us out into the vast Universe to learn about life and about ourselves, so that this higher being can in turn learn about itself. We are all on a path to God, just in different ways. We all shall return to this source someday, for we are a part of this source, The source I choose to call God or The Universal Divine. I am glad I have crossed your path if only to share this thought.

The message is clear to those who listen, And in most religions it is the same.

• Be kind to one another and try to live in peace.


• If you hurt another,you are also hurting yourself.


• If you love another,you are also loving yourself.


• When life is at its darkest, turn to YOUR source that you believe in and have faith.


• Learn from your pain and you will gain wisdom.


• All roadblocks in life are meant to teach you a lesson.


• All experiences make you a bit more wise.


• If you think you have nowhere to turn, then turn to yourself and listen to what you are being told. There is a message for you in your present situation.


• Discover the hidden lessons and you will find your path. But only you have the answers that will find the truth, the truth that is inside of you.


• Have faith in yourself and you will know what is the truth.
