Is Paganism a resurgence of old heresies?

Well, whatever you want to call it, the resurgence of paganism is a keen reminder that old heresies never die; they just fade away only to return once again. -- Paganism 'Just Another Religion?', Christian News

This seems to be a tired refrain sung by many who do not or will not see that Neo-Paganism is a viable religion in its own right. They are too hung up on their own predjudices and preconcieved notions about what a relgion ought or ought not to be. Many view Pagans as just a bunch of people who have rebelled against the faith of their families, read Christian. For many who have chosen the path, however, it has been a very well thought out choice. Sick of dealing with the hypocricy in their family's religion, they choose a path that is not weighed down with pointless dogmas.
